The Free Fire World Series (FFWS) 2022 is the most famous offline competition, which will be held in Sentosa, Singapore. Just off the southern coast of Singapore lies a place called Sentosa. Which has thrilling events, theme parks, verdant rainforests, and golden sand beaches.

The World Series demonstrates Garena’s ongoing commitment to engage and thrill the worldwide audience with competitive esports content while putting everyone’s safety first. Garena will make sure that all activities adhere to current travel and public health regulations.

The Esports Awards 2021 honoured Free Fire with the title of Esports Mobile Game of the Year in November 2021. So, its the second consecutive year that Free Fire received this honour. The Free Fire World Series 2021 Singapore (FFWS 2021 SG) just finished with a record-breaking amount of spectators across all platforms.

According to Esports Charts, the Finals of the FFWS 2021 SG had the largest peak viewership of any esports match in history. Hence, excluding Chinese platforms. It had 5.4 million concurrent online viewers.

Free Fire World Series (FFWS) 2022

In May of this year, the Free Fire World Series 2022 Sentosa will take place. The Finals will be held on May 21, 2022, and the Play-ins on May 14, 2022. However, 22 teams from 13 different regions will compete at FFWS 2022 Sentosa for the chance to win the title of Free Fire world champions.

Twelve teams will compete in the Play-ins to secure a position in the Finals. The top 2 Play-in teams will join the top 10 seeds to make up the 12 teams who will battle for the FFWS 2022 Sentosa championship. In addition, the teams will compete across 6 rounds on 3 different maps to see who can survive the longest. Hence, points will be awarded depending on round positioning and kill totals.

However, to compete for the title of Free Fire world champions, the FFWS 2022 Sentosa will bring together 18 of the greatest teams and players from 11 different locations. So, ten teams will compete in the Play-ins to earn a position in the Finals the following week, which will start on May 14.

There will be 12 finalists for the Free Fire global championship when the top 4 teams from the Play-ins join the top 8 seeded teams. The teams will compete over 6 rounds on 3 different maps to see who can survive the longest. So, the prints include round positioning and kill totals.
